On Friday February 26th 2016, Wari Cape Verde was officially launched in Praia.
The ceremony was held in the presence of Wari's CEO Mr Kabirou Mbodje, Deputy Managing Director, Mr Mouhamed Seye, Chief Communications Officer Mrs Awa Dia and Wari Cape Verde Country Manager, Ms Sandra Horta.
The Wari Group and its branch in Cape Verde were presented to an audience of reputable guests such as :
- Representatives of the Cape Verdean Ministry of Finance
- Senegal's, Portugal's and Guinea Bissau's Ambassadors
- CEOs of partner companies such as Financial and Micro Finance Institutes and oil partners (Vivo, Ecobank, Asdis, Famf, Bank of Cape Verde, etc.).
The event will be covered by the local press, which was also invited.
This launch has enabled the representatives of the Government and these partners to express their satisfaction with the launch of Wari's activities in Cape Verde.
